On Sep. 21-22, 2020, CFSA organized food contact material migration test standard revision round table meeting in Beijing. The meeting invited more than 20 experts and enterprises representatives. AICM have 3 representatives from 2 members to join in the meeting.

   Firstly, the experts responsible for the revision for this standard reported the work process respectively. And then the

Secretariat led to discuss the clause one by one. The experts had a heated discussion on the definition of terms, basic requirements, screening methods, substitution tests of chemical solvents, determination of results and correction of results. The secretariat will make further modifications after the meeting and report them to national standard committee for review. AICM will liaise closely with policy makers on the revision of standards and provide scientific and practical experience for the industry.
