On December 7, 2021, AICM IPAC successfully held 2021 AICM Site Safety and health Regulation Annual meeting in Shanghai. 60 representatives from 31 member companies attended this meeting.
As an important activity, IPAC deputy chair Mr. Bill Zhou gave a welcome address, and said Our annual regulation meeting is based on the hot trends of the regulations this year, to summarize, analyze and interpret the laws and regulations that have a greater impact on our member companies, promote our communication with government experts and policy makers, and help us do a better job in compliance work. This year we are honored to invite to experts from China Chemical Safety Association, Shanghai Emergency Management Agency, Shanghai Emergency Management and Chemical Registration Center , Shanghai Institution of Occupational disease for Chemical Industry for the member companies to share the latest progress of the hazardous chemical safety regulations, workplace occupational health management regulations, Shanghai safe production regulations revision and chemical registration center of business development and in the future.
Member companies’ representatives and experts had lively and pragmatic discussions on each of the keynote speeches, which helped member companies to understand the original intention of the legislation and solve practical problems.
As a representative of chemical raw material manufacturers, AICM will continue to promote communication and exchanges with the government, research institutions and stakeholders, to put forward scientific and reasonable suggestions for safety, health and environmental protection regulations of common interest to the industry and member companies, and promote the revision and operability of Chinese laws and regulations.
