The workshop was chaired by Mr. Xiao Li, chairman of AICM Responsible Care Committee Chair Mr. Xiao mentioned that the Responsible Care committee would fully support the implementation and operation of the project of chemical warehouse safety assessment system. Ms. Beryl Ma, Executive Director of AICM, introduced the AICM and how AICM Responsible Care distribution sub-committee contributes to the warehouse safety and road transportation. Beryl Ma expressed her pleasure to see AICM members can still actively participate in ICCA capacity-building projects during the epidemic situation. Mr. Lin Zhenyu, Secretary General of dangerous goods branch of China Warehousing and Distribution Association, explained how chemical warehousing and supply chain develop together. Covestro expert Mr. Anson Chen explained operation mechanism and framework of chemical warehouse safety assessment system as well as the specific plan and questionnaire structure for establishing the storage assessment system. Judy Wu, representative of bottemen Logistics China, introduced the relevant laws and regulations of EU dangerous goods warehouse.
Ms. Li Donghong, chairman of AICM responsible care storage and transportation sub committee, introduced the purpose of chemical storage seminar and the establishment of storage evaluation system. President Li expressed the hope that domestic storage enterprises should also refer to international standards and audit system like AICM members, strictly require themselves in terms of safety, and encourage everyone to communicate and share more. Ms. Wang Wen of Shanghai dao'an Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. gave a systematic demonstration of the chemical storage safety assessment system.
Core experts in the industry, management representatives of relevant government regulatory departments, some members of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and safety principals of chemical production enterprises and chemical storage enterprises discussed how to effectively improve the company's internal management system through questionnaire evaluation, so as to improve the guarantee level of chemical transportation.
In the sharing session, we also discussed the impact analysis of some recent regulations on the storage of hazardous chemicals and how to jointly promote the information management of hazardous chemical storage enterprises. More than 70 online and offline listeners participated in the seminar.
